An exciting new concept for Australian cycling, born right here in Perth deserved a brand with the power to engage the people and attract the attention of corporate event partners.
We’ve been lucky enough to work closely with Perth events company CIC Events since 2012, starting with the inaugural Race Around Rottnest. For Velofest, we worked with the CIC team to develop a name, logo, brand identity and website for this new Perth cycling series.
With the ambition to create a series of events that makes professional cycling more accessible to the broader community, Velofest - Join the ride was born. The typographic logo design is just right - Simple, strong and designed to work where Velofest shares its space with the multiple logos of event partners.
The design of a simple website for the launch of the concept has been followed by posters, a festival booklet guide and continues as Velofest gathers momentum and attracts a growing list of cycling mad companies as partners. Join the ride.
