An exciting adventure race gave us a great opportunity to design a logo and brand for the very first race. With the logo design first across the line, the event website soon followed.
2012 saw the inaugural Race Around Rottnest, a triathlon style race by CIC Events. We were excited to be involved with an event that combines the action of adventure racing with everyone’s favourite island.
We began with the design of a new event logo, stripping out existing complexities to create a logo that is clean and focused on what’s important - The name and location. We created an extended brand identity for the event that combines photographs of the 4 race disciplines - Run, Paddle, Ride, Swim - with images of the unique Rottnest landscape.
The new logo and brand identity were applied to the event website to create an arresting, colourful and dynamic site. With the first ever Race Around Rottnest a great success, the CIC team and our guys are all looking forward to watching it grow.
