Dedicated Designer Dave

Dave, getting all Designer-y Zoolander style.

Dave started with The Cut early in 2016, when our last lead Designer departed for London. At the time, Dave was recently returned from 12 months of travel, and an extended stint mountain biking and snowboarding in Canada. Dave settled back into full time working life quickly.

"Canada was an awesome holiday and it's been great to be given this opportunity at The Cut. In this studio I get thrown a huge variety of clients and design disciplines so the job is always moving fast and we've been producing some really strong work over the past several months."

At time of writing, Dave recently dropped to one knee in King's Park to ask his partner of several years to marry him. She said 'Yes!' so now Dave has to climb the wedding planning mountain sometime in his near future. (It's not easy Dave).

With a background that includes an apprenticeship in a printing company, and freelance work with Vinten Browning, Dave has a deeper understanding than most young designers of print specifications and options for paper stocks and print effects. We're keeping print alive!

Dave has a real talent for logo and branding design, and also extends himself with broader campaign and visual communication concepts for The Cut's clients.

Highlights so far include The Scoff Society, Turfcare WA, CVue Property Managers, Anytime Adventures, Trove, and the list goes on.
