The new homes sector is a space we're comfortable in. We understand the online presentation of new home products and what it takes to engage with online consumers. We applied this experience to a very nice custom solution for Content Living.
Content Living's old website was in need of some love and carefully considered thinking. We were happy to deliver that in the form of a custom designed interface and functionalities, all driven by Backslash, our own CMS.
Consumers looking for new homes always spend time on the road visiting the display homes, so for Content Living, the new website had to be responsive. Responsive design is crucial in the new homes market because the consumers are out and about visiting display homesna dlooking for inspiration so they have to be able to use the site just as well from their tablets and smart phones. We focused our strategy on designing a responsive website that delivers an intuitive user experience across all platforms from desktop to mobile.
As well as looking simple and clean, the new website includes some clever functionality. It uses Google maps to show the location of display homes, a great feature for customers who want to find and locate displays quickly and easily, and then get there for a look around.
The new site also integrates data from Content’s CRM platform to remove a few steps from the management process and make things faster and easier for the Content Living admin team.
And, the new site also allows the management of prices in two regions, Perth and the South West. This is essential for this builder who offers products in both regions where costs and pricing requirements are quite different.
Consumers can also use the site to find house and land packages and the best homes to fit on certain block sizes. With blocks getting smaller, this really helps people who want to squeeze maximum home onto a minimum block.
A website really isn't working as hard as it can for the business if it doesn't help you grow your data base, so the new Content Living site also gathers the names and emails of consumers before they download a Content Living brochure.
New homes are complex products to present online with multiple otions and configurations available, and presenting all that information in a simple and accessible way is challenging. In this case we have met that challenege and provided the client with an elevated website that has improved their web presence overall, made access and use faster and easier for customers and incudes features that make life much easier in the Content Living offices.
