Perth 2011 is a World Championship and Olympic Qualifying sailing regatta to be contested in Fremantle in December 2011 supported by the State Government and Eventscorp. The event will attract more than 1,400 competitors and 3,600 support staff and event professionals. It’s big.

This is an event with a truly international audience and The Cut was appointed as lead creative agency in January 2009 and developed the event Website from the ground up, brand design and advertising campaigns across all media.

The volume of information and traffic hosted by the website was staggering, with over 80 countries competing in the event and following the results of their teams primarily online.

The Cut provided strategic guidance and conceptual development and design on the key advertising campaign that was seen across Perth and Nationally in the months leading up to the event.
